One team. One family. One mission.
Our Story
In April 2017, our lives changed forever...
... when Erin went on the "hunt" for a rescue dog. She spent days browsing different rescue/shelter webpages for the perfect companion. Multiple times a day, this little black and tan puppy would come across her screen. Erin and DJ were not particularly interested in adopting a puppy, but Erin kept saying "it's a sign from the universe, we HAVE to meet her". April 10th, Erin and DJ went down to the shelter to do just that. Out came a friendly little puppy, covered in mange. It was love at first sight. She immediately bagan licking Erin's face. DJ and Erin began to smother her with love, and decided that she was the perfect addition to their family! Unfortunately, Ginger was too sick to come home that day due to an infection caused by her severe mange. DJ and Erin waited, very impatiently, for the call from the shelter saying that Ginger was well enough to be brought to her "furever" home. Two days later, they received that call, and ran to the shelter to pick her up, and sign the adoption papers. Before heading to her new home, the new little family made a pit-stop at Alex and Danielle's house to introduce the new little puppy. Ginger immediately made herself at home on the couch with her new toys, and every one of the humans fell in love with her. Ginger has grown into the most wonderful dog that anyone could possibly ask for in their lives. She has shaped each and every one of her family members' lives for the better. DJ began working as a professional dog companion in August of 2017. Erin has been helping rehome animals, donating to shelters and rescues, and even began rescuing small and abused animals since Ginger's adoption. Alex and Danielle have asked for any gift they receive to be a donation to the WWF or an animal rescue, make donations to animals in need, and have fostered animals when possible. As a family, they have decided to dedicate their lives to providing happiness to animals by opening Who's My Good Dog?. Their mission is to ensure quality care, and provide love by giving lots of snuggles and pets to your best friend(s).Ginger's Adventure
Fur-ever In Love.
Ginger was found roaming the streets of South Carolina at five months old with her mom and one sister. All three were in pretty bad shape- bone thin and covered in severe mange. Their skin was incredibly infected, cracked and bleeding. Luckily, a local rescue group picked them up and they worked with a rescue/shelter here in Brooklyn to ensure the dogs would receive top notch care, and go to wonderful homes. Ginger and her furry family arrived in Brooklyn in early 2017. They were not immediately available for adoption, as they were too sick to leave the critical care program of the shelter. Once Ginger was finally put up for adoption, her picture was on every pet-adoption site imaginable. Although her family was looking to adopt an older dog, they felt they absolutely had to meet her- and it was love at first sight. Ginger had to spend a few more days at the shelter due to an infection caused by her severe mange. The second she was ready to go to her "furever" home her family rushed to pick her up. A few weeks later, Ginger's family brought her to the vet to get medication to treat the mange and update her vaccinations. When the vet was inspecting Ginger's skin, she noticed terrible scarring on Ginger's stomach. The vet attributed the scarring to bite marks from other dogs- leading her to believe that Ginger was used as a "bait dog" in dog fighting rings as a very young puppy. This explained Ginger's fear of other dogs. In the weeks after, her family worked extremely hard with her to overcome that fear. Ginger began to warm up to other dogs surprisingly fast. Within the next month or so Ginger was running with other dogs at the dog park, and playing with other dogs on the street. In September of 2017, she began attending the doggy daycare where her fur-dad works, and very quickly became everyone's friend. After a year of being with her family, her mange completely disappeared. Today she is completely healthy. Ginger loves attention, especially when it comes from another dog. She would absolutely love to meet your fur-baby and steal their heart like she stole ours.Bullet's Adventure
Fur-ever In Love (Part II).
Before arriving at his "furever" home, Bullet went on quite an adventure! Originally from Arizona, Bullet disappeared from his first home, and was missing for three years before he turned up in Texas. When he was found and brought to a rescue group in Arkansas, his original owners were contacted... thanks to his microchip. Unfortunately, when they found out that he had been shot in the leg and would need surgery to fix his wound, they were uninterested in bringing him back home. After some procedures, and with some TLC from the rescue group, Bullet was ready to be rehomed. He was then sent to an animal rescue here in NYC, where DJ and Erin had come across his picture online. After tossing around the idea of fostering a dog for a few weeks, and having come across this gentle giant's picture, DJ and Erin decided to take a trip to the shelter to meet him. What they didn't know was that it was going to be love at first sight! Fortunately for them, fostering Bullet wasn't going to be an option, as he was doing well in the shelter setting. They decided to take the plunge and make him an official part of the family. They love their Bully-Boy and their family wouldn't be complete without him!

Danielle was born and raised in Brooklyn. She always had pet cats growing up, but always wanted a dog. Unfortunately, her landlord never allowed dogs in her apartment. Thanks to the unconditional love and support of her generous boyfriend, Alex, her family is opening the finest doggy daycare in NYC!
Her son DJ has been taking care of dogs of all shapes and sizes since 2017, and will be the reason you love our home away from home. He is the reason she does everything she does.
Danielle is certified in Pet First Aid and CPR. She has her NYS Animal Care and Handling License. She would feel lucky to help take care of your best friend(s), and would do so as if they were her own.
Alex, also born and raised in Brooklyn, is a successful business owner. His love for Ginger gave him the idea to start doggy daycare. His love for his son Salvatore, is the reason Alex succeeds at all he does. Along with Erin, Salvatore helped create our website with his ideas and knowledge of computers.
